Short history

Lumi comes from a fishing village on the south end of the One River, that was doing very well when he was little. Unfortunately, it obviously wasn’t long after his birth that Doma was conquered. He spent his childhood helping his father fish in an increasingly hostile environment during the days, and studying with his mother and two little sisters in the evenings. As conscriptions grew more and more common, she started to teach him all she knew of conjury as well, in the hope that he might get a medical position if it happened to them.That effort paid off; When he was 18, Lumi was pressed into service as a conscript medicus, where he served until the end of the war.And he’s a lucky bloke! Both parents and both little siblings were alive to meet him when he finally returned to the banks of the One- all five of them much changed, but unwilling to let the victory they had fought for be soured by it.
